Growing up in South Florida, “fall” and “Autumn” were not in my vocabulary. Somehow I still found myself admiring fall in hope that one day I can comfortably wear trench coats. Anytime the temperature dropped to 70 degrees I am popped out the oversized sweaters, combat boots, and pumpkin spice latte.
If you live in a warm area, but still want to have the fall fashion experience, this outfit is for you. I’m going to start with my favorite part of the outfit-the skirt. I have seen many pictures of Taylor Swift in this Brandy Melville skirt, so when I wear it I definitely come in touch with my inner pop star. The skirt is a perfect warm color to represent the fall spirit.
I paired the skirt with a high neck-line symmetrical crop top which keeps the outfit neutral. For light layering I added this leather jacket from the Giacca. Leather jackets are essential for fall, it’s a basic layering piece but adds great texture to the outfit especially with the quilted detailing.
Lastly, one of the best reasons to love fall-the boots! Boots are my ultimate staple piece. You can never go wrong with a nice pair of black boots. They compliment so many different outfits and can dress up causal wear.
